I’m sick…nothing major, just a nasty annoying summertime cold. I don’t know where I got it, or who gave it to me but I’d like to give the darn thing back. I hate being sick!!

The only thing that makes me feel better right now are my dogs and my cat. They all seem to know I’m not feeling all that great. Lydia, my Aussie mix, is the one who is especially in-tune to the fact that I’m feeling bad but then again, she’s always more aware than the the others. When I’m not feeling well, she stays closer to me and watches me with a look that I don’t see any other time. It’s like she’s trying to wish me well…maybe just so I’ll play with her. Whatever the look really is, or what is going through her mind, I’d like to think she simply wants me to feel better. And having her here does just that!

I think my cold medicine has kicked in so I’m going to call it quits before I write something totally unintelligible…if I haven’t already done that already!!
