This Sunday, in honor of the Feast of St. Francis, St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in south Austin will be holding a blessing of the animals. Here are the details:
Date: Sunday, October 4
Time: 3-5 pm
Place: Menchaca Elementary School,
12120 Manchaca Rd. (at 1626)
Celebrity guests include:
Uno, Westminster’s Best in Show, 2008
Snoopy (thanks to MetLife Insurance)
Representatives from Hearts & Hooves miniature therapy horses, Austin Hound Rescue, and Town Lake Animal Shelter will be there too.
All pets are welcome, but they must be leashed or otherwise under control.
