Update on the list of foods NOT on the recall list

in Pet Food Recall, Pet Health, Pets

As you all know, the pet food recall is a HUGE thing. Because of it, we’ve been getting a tremendous amount of traffic lately which has affected the speed of the website. To alleviate the problem, we’ve set up a website specifically for the list.

We’d planned on doing this after things died down a bit so we could keep the pet food list project going. However, due to the heavy traffic bogging down the site, we went ahead and set it up now. Right now the new site simply has the list on it but be it will be updated at the same time we update the list here.

You’ll find the new website at http://www.thepetfoodlist.com.

Be sure to keep an eye on The Pet Food List even after the recall has faded a bit from the media as we’ll be adding more information about pet foods.

Thank you so much for posting this list.

I have Wellness canned and dry dog food. I see you have Wellness listed together with Versus. Is this intentional? Do the comments apply to both companies? Can you please clarify this?

Thank you.

Bookmark and check this link often for all recalls. It is excellent:

You may return recalled food to the store where bought for refund but it is suggested by some that if the pet has eaten any of it to save it very securely in a manner where it cannot be accessed by children or pets. The reason for saving it for a time is in case your pet ends up developing kidney failure in the near future, due to eating the food, you would then have the food as proof.
