Last night I was the guest speaker at Dogadillo Yappy Hour. Dogadillo is an upscale dog boutique here in Austin. Every month they have a Yappy Hour for dogs and their people to socialize. They serve drinks and snacks for the humans and yummy dog treats for all the four-leggeds.
In addition to all the goodies, they usually have a speaker talk about a dog-related topic. So last night I was invited to talk to folks about pet first aid. Since summer is here, we talked about bee stings, snake bites, heat stroke, and a number of other summer time hazards.
I’ll be teaching a Pet First Aid & CPR class at Dogadillo on June 6. For more information see Austin Pet First Aid.
I had a great time at Yappy Hour…who wouldn’t love a room full of friendly, happy dogs?! From the looks of it I’d say everybody had a great time. Here are a few of the photos from the event.
Agador was waving to everyone as I talked. What a cutie!
Zane seemed to think he was the activity director.
He wanted all his dog buddies to play.
