A Waterbury, CT woman is in hot water these days for leaving her 8 month old puppy in a hot car when the outside temperature was 102 degrees.
From the Waterbury, CT Republican American. . .
“According to the Connecticut Humane Society, on a warm day the temperature in a parked vehicle can reached 160 degrees in a matter of minutes, even with partially open windows. With only hot air to breath, a pet inside a parked car on a warm day can quickly suffer from brain damage or die from heatstroke.”
Nicole Rich, 27, left a dog, named Tyson, in her car while she went shopping in Wal-Mart. People who saw the dog called the local police department who were able to get the dog out of the car. Tyson is now being cared for by the Shelton dog pound, where he is recovering.
Nicole’s shopping trip may end up costing her a $1,000 fine and a year in prison. She’ll be arraigned on August 14.
**People like this irritate me to no end! I just don’t understand how they can drive around in their air cond . . . in an air conditioned store. I’m glad officials are taking this type of thing more seriously and doing something about it. I could go on and on about this subject, but I’ll stop now and let you read more yourself.*

I hope she goes to prison and her cell is next to the furnace all summer. How can people be so stupid and self involved?
That would certainly be a fitting punishment, wouldn’t it?! Whatever the courts decide, I certainly hope this woman has learned something through the whole ordeal.
I hope they put her in a cell lined with 100 watt heat lamps and no A/C. Then when she gets out of prison they should put her on home arrest for another year and take the A/C out of her house.
