In an effort
to raise awareness about the importance of responsible pet ownership,
online pet care locator service, PetsitUSA.com, joins Austin-based
Spay-Neuter Incentive Program (S.N.I.P).
Austin,
TX - August 9, 2004
- PetsitUSA.com (www.petsitusa.com) has been accepted as a Founding
Business Member of the Spay-Neuter Incentive Program, started
in 2004 by DogBoy's Dog Ranch in Pflugerville, TX. S.N.I.P is
a coalition of area businesses that promote spaying and neutering
by offering discounts, free products, or other incentives to pet
owners who spay or neuter their pets.
"We're
very pleased to be a part of S.N.I.P. and to be able to help with
such an important issue. Our customers are mainly owners of pet-related
small businesses, not only in Austin, but throughout the country
as well. Because of this, we believe we're in a unique position
to be able to reach out to a great number of people and help bring
attention to the importance of responsible pet ownership,"
said Therese Kopiwoda, founder of PetsitUSA.com.
As a member
of S.N.I.P., PetsitUSA.com offers extended advertising to pet
sitting, dog walking, or dog daycare businesses who either give
an incentive to their clients, or have their own pets spayed or
neutered.
PetsitUSA.com
will take part in the first ever S.N.I.P Fest, an event intended
to introduce the community to the program and to recognize the
50 plus founding member businesses and non-profit groups. The
event will include music by Vallejo (a nationally known band from
Austin), games for people and their pets, food, and fun. S.N.I.P.
Fest will be held on August 21, 2004 at DogBoy's Dog Ranch in
Pflugerville, TX.
