to its online directory of professional pet sitters, dog walkers,
& dog daycares.

is pleased to announce the addition of a new feature that will
allow pet owners to search for professional pet care in cities
throughout the United States. Visitors to the site still have
the option of searching for pet care by zip code. However, the
new 'search by city' feature now allows them to widen the search
if the zip code search doesn't produce the results they had hoped
for, or if they simply don't know the zip code in the area where
they need pet care. The search results include professional pet
sitters, dog walkers, and dog daycares.
"We've
had many requests from people who are moving into a new area,
traveling to a place where they don't know the zip code, or are
looking for other pet care professionals to network with,"
said Therese Kopiwoda, owner and founder of PetsitUSA.com. "The
new feature will allow pet owners more flexibility as they search
for pet care and will provide our advertisers with more visibility."
Other updates
to the site allow advertisers to login to their own account and
list their services in an unlimited number of zip codes and cities.
In the past, advertisers were limited in the number of zip codes
they could list as their service area, which was a drawback for
advertisers who operate large pet care businesses. And, our new
'search by city' feature, will allow our advertisers to list their
business in an unlimited number of cities that they service, including
cities in neighboring states. This will be especially beneficial
to some of the larger businesses, and those whose client base
crosses state lines.
Professional
in-home pet sitters, dog walkers, and dog daycares have been around
for many years, but they are gaining in popularity as more pet
