The other day I blogged about the sleepless night Lydia and I had because she wasn’t feeling well and wrote about how things like that always remind me her cancer could come back at any time. For the most part, I didn’t think it was the cancer rearing it’s ugly head, but there’s always that “what if” after a dog goes through cancer. The entire night really sucked for both of us!
Well . . .
I’m happy elated to report that it was just a good old fashioned doggie belly ache! Lydia saw her oncologist this afternoon for a recheck and an ultrasound and everything looks great. She sashayed her little self into the office this afternoon, told everyone there she was absolutely perfect, and the vet agreed! To her it was a great big Lydia Love Fest. And I couldn’t be happier!

We’re doing a happy dance……..TG she’s ok. I can imagine what you went through but I’m also elated to hear all is well.
Hugs & kisses to both of you…….
I can understand your elation. All that worry and fear just lifts off of you in a second.
After having a dog with cancer myself, I know how hyper-alert you become to anything out of the ordinary. Of course, when you do think something is wrong, you immediately assume the worst.
Here’s to many, many more good days!

Very good news ! No matter how much you try not to worry its impossible not to think it could have been the cancer again.
