I have a Pet Sitting/Dog Walking business in Huntington Beach, CA. I was a teacher and really loved it even though teaching Kindergarten kids take a lot out of you. My daughter was killed by a drunk driver. I was such a mess that I couldn't continue to teach. My son gave me a rescue dog, Brooklyn. He really is a rescue dog because he rescued me. Without Brooklyn to help me through that very dark time I really don't know where I'd be. He licked my tears at 3AM and never left my side for almost a year. He knew that I was in pain. He saved me & brought me into the light. Now, I have so many dogs & cats to care for and love. It's the perfect job. I know that all "my" dogs & cats feel my love because I feel theirs.
Thanks for letting me share my story.

Hi,

I am a petsitter in Houston, Texas and love what I do. Its all about taking care of the
dogs and cats as well as other pets. I have to rescue dogs that I just adore and I am
always trying to work with rescues to get these animal their forever home. Sophie and
Pongo are my best friends and give some much love and joy to my life. I dont know
what I would do without them. I am currently trying to find a foster for a dog that
I recently rescued from BARC(Houston City Pound) so if there are any Houston
animal lovers that read this please contact me @ karenzorn@yahoo.com. This
dog is about 40lbs, got lab and retriever in him and such a spunky personality, male,
also golden in color.

Hi, pet-people! I have 3 house cats and they work here full-time. For room and board, free meals and entertainment, they work hard! Some of their chores are Stray-Cat patrol (window-duty), cleaning their plates, making litter deposits, keeping the chairs and bed warm, waking me at 6 AM, and making me laugh at least 5 times a day! In return I provide the basics and am required to participate in daily cat rituals like stairway soft-ball, hide-and-seek, and personalized song-singing (use your imagination here!) If you are cat folks, you know what I'm talking about! Anyway, thanks for the chance to win, and all the fun at Petsit USA! We love you!!

We adopted a kitten, who was just two months old, on Feb. 1, 2009. We wanted this kitten to keep, our mixed breed black lab company. They both
get along and play together. They are so cute together playing. Some people think that cats and dogs do not get along, but ours play together. It is best to orient the cat, when he is a very young kitten and also take the dog to the
Humane Society (or wherever you decide to adopt the cat) and introduce the dog to the cat to make sure they get along prior to adopting the new pet family member.
